Avoid the 6% PQRS Penalty

Medicare has upped their penalty for failure to comply with PQRS reporting. Providers who do not successfully report on their 2016 claims will see their 2018 Medicare reimbursement reduced by 6%. To avoid this penalty, HCA has partnered with a data registry that can aid your office in reporting quality measures to satisfy Medi- care’s requirements.

As Medicare has made claims based submission of reporting measure virtually impossible, data registries offer an economical solution to meeting Medicare’s criteria. to enroll, please pay the fee listed on your October invoice. We will register your practice with our partner, and begin the process of identifying patients and measures you can report on. Please note that successful reporting is dependent upon your inclusion of Medicare’s quality mea- sures in your progress notes.
